I know a couple of nurses from PENN, who are also medics over there and are patching up the wounded. They don’t complain, they don’t question - they just save lives. Here are some shots from where they live/work.

One year ago today I got my FJ. Best car ever! For me that is. Took it to the NCAA lax finals and then straight to the beach for a surf session. This year we went to the NCAA’s again and might go to the beach tom. I love it more every day I have it and can’t be any more psyched on it…well unless I had one more thing for it…all black rims would make it totally complete, but those have to wait a little while…someday.

My life would be totally totally complete if I had one of these to go with my perfect car.

So my best girlfriend Anna is Prego!! yipee. She has 2 girls already so I’m thinking that it’ll be a girl again…but here’s hopin’ for a boy so we can do some serious shopping when it comes! Sorry Chris..Ha

This company makes the coolest baby furniture. It’s all wood with no screws or metal or bolts or anything, which is even cooler!

The weather this week is going to be amazing. Sunny. Warm. Blue skies. I’m taking off Friday for a 4 day weekend. Looking forward to some “free” time. Don’t get it all that often.

Last night was a crazy night in the ER. Body after body kept coming in with no end in sight and the all the sudden they stopped. Just as quick as it started it ended. Maybe they managed to fire all their bullets at the same time or something crazy like that. It was weird. We had 15 shootings, 5 random deaths and 7 DOA’s in a 4 hour span. Something is wrong here and I only think it’s going to get worse. Summer brings out the crazy side of people. Hot weather brings on the asthma attacks, drowning in the fountains on Broad Street and a lot more of the random killings. Somebody do something.

Drove down to Atlantic City and saw Seal last night in the most incredible place ever. The whole venue had 26 rows. Three sections wide and held about 300 people Max. We were blown away to say the least!! It was an amazing show for sure. He played a bunch of old stuff which was great. He has a new album coming out this fall and will tour again in big stadiums so we lucked out. Didn’t even need ear plugs because the sound system was amazing and the place was tiny. Unbelievable and one of the best shows I have ever been to in my life! For sure!

Amazing trip. In every way. Good company, Good food, Good Paintball matches, Good drinks, Good digs to sleep at (thanks Adam’s Aunt & Bill), Good weather, no lost Luggage on the return flight. Even brought back an extra large bottle of Tortuga rum from the Cayman’s. Been looking for a distributor in Florida and stumbled into ABC Liquor. Ghetto fabulous liquor store. All the right stuff to get you drunk at all the right prices…nice. Very nice. Here are just some of the good shots..Too many to share…

We got a minivan to hold everyone and it came with a DVD player. We were in the best cell phone waiting lot ever and Watched a couple of minutes of some paintball action while we waited.

Adam was always good for a laugh during the weekend. You were either laughing with him or at in. No real in-between..

Wendy was a great sport through the whole weekend. She was stoked when we found a super high-end mall were she spent the entire day shopping for $600 shoes. Gotta love not having kids and having tons of disposable income. Aw Yeah!

We all got pretty drunk, pretty quick on Sake bombs, but Ramon beat us all to the drunk guy in the parking lot punch…

FRANCONIA, N.H. (AP) — A cousin of skiing star Bode Miller fatally shot and ran over a police officer, then was killed by a passer-by who grabbed the officer’s gun.

Liko Kenney shot Cpl. Bruce McKay four times and ran over him after a traffic stop Friday evening, state Attorney General Kelly Ayotte said. Gregory Floyd, who was driving by with his son, grabbed McKay’s gun and shot Kenney when he refused to put his gun down, Ayotte said.”

Crazy both of them are dead and it was all caught on tape by the cruiser’s dash cam. Wonder how long before it makes it to youtube or ogrish…terrible!

So Chuck is out in Las Vegas at a tradeshow and had some exciting stuff go down. There was an employee of the Luxor killed when he tried to pick up a suspicious package off the roof of his car when it blew up. It just so happened that Chuck is staying there and his rental car was parked not too far from the guy’s car. He had to be escorted down to his car in the evening when he went to get it and even got interviewed by a real life CSI guy. Crazy.

This world is so nuts lately. People will do anything. Vegas is a place where anything can go down.

Thank god Chuck is OK and is coming home this afternoon. Enough of that place already. Good thing our next 2 trips are to places that are a little safer. We are going to Tampa on Thursday and he is off to Denver on Monday. Travel mania for the White family for the next few weeks.

Today is the Kentucky Derby. One year we are going to make it there. Now that Jennifer and Alex live closer it may happen sooner then later. We were all going to go a few years back and then Alex’s brother got married so we had to postpone. I even have my derby hat, which I will save for the time we make it! My mom’s best friend Jennifer goes every year. She is from Lexington and has a ton of horses and horse trainers in her family. She was in one of the owners boxes yesterday and placed a bet for my mom and grandmom. They didn’t win a dollar, but man that race is so freakin’ exciting to watch. All 2 minutes of it. In honor of the Derby..I had a mint Julep at lunch with both Chuck and my families. It was a little rough at first, but I got used to it. (maybe because you get so drunk, so quick, you really don’t taste how strong it is after 1) Congrats Street Sense!

The other night my husband called me at the hospital and told me that he had a “surprise” for me. Exciting. I tried, to no avail, to get him to tell me what it was… never in a million years would have ever have guessed it either! He went on and painted the Kitchen. Just like that. With an amazing color orange that we bought in Vermont and never used. He rules. The paint job is amazing and our house feels brand new again…Thanks Chuck!

Not much going on this week but HUGE exams. I have finals this week and I have been a little busy. We did take time out last night to blow some of it off at paintball practice. Felt good to shoot things…Looking forward to being done and having 2 weeks off before my summer session starts. We are going to Tampa for a long weekend next weekend and I am sooo looking forward to it! Bring on the sun and hot weather.
