Now I feel bad laughing about the naked drunk guy running on I95 in the post below:

He was found dead floating in the river today. ugh. poor guy. They let him out of the drunk tank and a day later he turned up dead. They think he got drunk and fell in and drowned. sad.

Getting slammed at school right now. ugh. Hating life. I am trying to keep my head above water but its not going well.
I can see the end but it’s not coming fast enough.

The rest of the holiday weekend was great. Hooked up with Carter Olcott and his lady April. They are so much fun. They should be making an appearance at our Holiday party so it should be a good time.

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving… wish me luck with the rest of my nightmare!

my mother-in-law and father-in-law always have some good friends over for thanksgiving. We didn’t make it this year but they still had a party and they took some great shots. Brother Ralph’s wheel chair didn’t fit through the door this year but Kevin sprung into action and took the door off the hinges. Warren and Missy seemed like they were having a blast.

My mother-in-law is an amazing lady. She does this every year. Loads them all up onto the bus, brings them over to the house, cooks dinner, serves dinner, loads them back on the bus and brings them back to the center. It’s a lot of work - but worth every minute when you get smiles like the ones below…

I thought they thought we sucked…but now Travel and Leisure thinks we are the coolest city in the US. SO - now we have won the uggliest and the coolest. Sweeeeeeet

Philly gets such a bad wrap…and rightly so some times, because people are shooting each other left and right. But, it’’s always fun to get stories like this one below thrown in the nightly news between the shootings and stabbings.

The Holidays tend to bring out all the crazy people and somehow they always manage to get drunk on top of being crazy…this actually happened on I95..huge highway.

“police rushed to a major highway following reports of a nude man running in traffic on Monday night and said they found a naked 26-year-old disrupting traffic on a major highway when they got there.

When officers arrived, they said Ardonas Gilbert, 26, of Chester, had assaulted two people who tried to help him get off the road and had caused three separate traffic crashes as people swerved to try to avoid him.

Investigators were finally able to capture Gilbert on Interstate 95 South at Marsh Road.

No serious injuries reported. Police later determined that Gilbert was drunk.

Gilbert was formally charged with two counts of third-degree assault and a single count of being drunk on the highway.

Gilbert was taken to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of $400 secured bail.”

Super bad car crash on 202 today had it shut down most of the day. Our heli went out and brought back a mess of a patient. 2 people died and another got injured - but crazy thing is the guy that was driving the car in the median got out on his own the Medic said and only had minor injuries. Someone was looking out for him because the driver of the van on its side was ejected and in pieces on the highway. Life is so short.

…The notch is closed. Those of you from VT will understand:

VTrans closes 108 through Smugglers Notch for the winter

“The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) today closed the portion of Vermont 108 through Smugglers Notch for the winter.

Recent snows have made the Notch Road impassable. With daytime temperatures expected to remain in the low 40s for much of the next 10 days – with nighttime temperatures predicted to drop into the low 20s – snow and ice conditions within the Notch are not expected to change.

Motorists are advised to alter their travel plans accordingly.

The Notch Road, a scenic byway that runs through a rugged natural area and connects the towns of Stowe and Cambridge, will reopen in the spring when weather conditions permit.”

ugh. A freakin’ exam every single Monday until the 3rd week in December and then it’s finals. Throw in an occasional Tuesday night exam here or there and it makes for one pissed off, tired, over worked, grumpy girl. I’m hating it right now. Can’t really think of anything worse…Oh yeah maybe watching anything that has to do about the state of our economy/country or the joke of a political race (or so they would like to call it politics) for president …I am ready to move out of this place ASAP. Next flight to anywhere Scandinavian please. They pay NP’s well there so I’m gonna look into it. Everyone is welcome to visit me in my own private paradise…ha. I’m such a dreamer.

They even have cute gift shops…maybe I could work here.

Here is a good shot of one of the heli’s at work. It’s pretty amazing.

We are building this amazing new building at work. It will be a state of the art cancer research and treatment center as well as a bunch of other things. Should be pretty cool when it’s done. Super high tech everything. We all got to sign the center beam on it when they first started which was cool. Here is the architectural rendering of it..I’ll try and get a shot from the heli-pad of the work in progress some time soon. It’s getting cold so I don’t spend much time up there anymore but I’ll get one.

It is getting cold around here. I am ready for it. Don’t get me wrong I love summer and the beach and all that good stuff but I’m ready for Fall and crisp mornings. The leaves have pretty much changed here. At least with the time change it’s not totally dark when I leave and when I come home. Just one way now.

Chuck and I saw this on Halloween and I forgot to mention it. it was good. Not fantastic but a good solid movie. Cast was great though. Real authentic. Worth the 10 bucks for sure.
