Oh my gosh
I am so glad we are going to Tokyo in a couple weeks so I can see what this is all about.
I would be so bummed if I didn’t get a chance to try this crap.
What the heck will they think of next. The Japanese culture is so unique…ha.

Friends
As always we had some of our good friends over to the White house for Easter lunch. This year was very mellow. No big problems or accidents which is wonderful!
Hope everyone had a nice easter!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all my fellow Irish people.
I miss Ireland.
One of my most favorite trips, in this life of mine, was through Ireland when I lived in Italy. It was amazing and fun and way too short. I am planning on going back and expecting it to be just as cool if not cooler.

Oma
Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!
For those of you that don’t speak German - my grandma turned 85 today. She rules! We took her to Atlantic city to gamble and hang out at the beach. She didn’t win anything but we had a blast watching her pull those slot machine handles. Hilarious.

So it was a crazy trip. Amazing company. Incredible snow. Crazy weather. Tasty Drinks. Yummy sushi. Comfy Condo. Good shopping. Strategic pack jobs. Flawless Border crossings. Fantastic blueberry juice and chocolate. Perfect trip. Can’t wait to go back again.
Here are some of the highlights:
Flying into Seattle you get the best view of Mt. St. Helen’s:

Went to a great local place for lunch. Faz fell in and out of love in 5 minutes with this chick and was left holding a pretty pink box full of cheesecake meant for his former love.

Went to Smith’s up in Capital Hill and had some dinner with 2 of Faz’s former roommates and waited for Evert to meet us to drive up together
Jenna had gravy fries with cheese curd and eggs or something crazy like that.

Seattle is pretty and has cool houses

The weather was crazy on the glacier. It changed almost every minute.

Fun times

Cramming everything in for the drive back to the US.

Vancouver was cool. Good shopping and cool architecture.

Car Show in Atlantic City

VT in the news
A Middlebury college student has gone missing. Vermont is such a small and safe state that when things like this happen it seems so unreal. Just thought I would post it since it really hasn’t made any major headlines yet and he has been missing for almost a month.
This is Nick Garza and here is the website his parents have set up:
